Plan Status

The system uses four types of status:

Active status means that a plan is currently enabled, allowing employees to view plan details or to enroll in it. Active status can be changed to Terminated only if no employee is enrolled in the plan.
In Progress status means that the plan addition process has not been completed and/or the plan has not been yet activated.
Pending status means that the plan has been activated but the Effective Date has not been reached yet.
Pending Termination status means that a Termination Date for the plan has been set in the future, no employee will be able to view plan details, or enroll.
Terminated status means that the plan has been disabled, no employee will be able to view plan details or to enroll in that plan. Once a plan status has been marked as Terminated, it cannot be changed to Active or In Progress.

To change plan status:

If the current plan status is Active, and you wish to terminate the plan, click Terminate.
If the current plan status is Active, but a Termination Date has been declared, click Reactivate to cancel the termination request.
If the current plan status is In Progress or Pending you can either click Activate to change the plan status to Active or click Terminate to terminate the plan.
