The Hotel has the architectonic characteristics of colonial European neoclassic architecture; this style was developed at the end of the nineteenth century. Founded in 1872, the Hotel filled the demand for the many visitors to the city of Ponce.
Hotel Bélgica has recently been restored for the enjoy of the modern day tourist looking for the traditional beauty of the last century.
