  1. Christopher Columbus Park
    The Christopher Columbus Park is located in a small forest at the southernmost beach of Aguadilla. The park harbors a romantic boardwalk along the beach.


  2. Guilarte Forest Reserve
    Monte Guilarte Forest Reserve is a beautiful and lush tropical site. The Forest is divided into seven segments which are located among the municipalities of Adjuntas, Guayanilla, Peñuelas and Yauco. The trails are excellent for hiking and the views at the pinnacle are breathtaking. On a clear day you can see both Ponce and San Juan without the aid of binoculars. Monte Guilarte (3,953 ft) is the third highest mountain peak on the island.

  4. Las Cabezas de San Juan State Park
    Las Cabezas de San Juan State Park located in Fajardo. Embraces a portion of the island's lush tropical rain forests. It also has a scientific research center, which serve as a home of many endangered species. Visitors can explore the reserve along a network of trails and board-walks. The Island's second oldest lighthouse, El Faro, is located here. Offers a magnificent view that, on a clear day, reaches distant Caribbean islands. The Nature Reserve is open for general and school group tours on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning and open to the public Friday afternoon through Sunday. Special rates are available for groups of 20 or more. Reservations are required for all visitors. Tours lasting two and one half hours, are scheduled four times daily: 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am and 2pm. An english tour is available at 2pm.

  12. Parque de Las Ciencias Luis A. Ferré
    Located in Bayamón (this city is considered to be the most progressive city of the island) includes museums, playgrounds and a zoo. In addition you will find an observation deck with a spectacular view. Open Wednesday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. Admission: Adults $5, children $3.

  14. Parque de las Palomas (Las Palomas Park)
    Las Palomas Park, at the top of the city wall, overlooks the restored La Princesa Jail, now a government office. The park is the perfect spot from which to enjoy a magnificent view of the harbor, city and mountains.


  15. Parque de Diversiones El Castillo
    This amusement park features the largest wave pool in the Caribbean, a medieval castle, antique museum, and haunted house. Open on Wed-Sun & Holidays 10am-6pm.
